Omnomnom!

So now that I'm home again, I decided to make a list of what I want to eat while I'm here. I am fairly certain this list will grow infinitely over the next week but here's what I have so far:

  1. Cake noodles from Leung's
  2. Chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and biscuit from KFC
  3. Taco Bell and the POG slush
  4. Strawberry mochi from Two Ladies' Kitchen
  5. Whopper from Burger King
  6. Chicken katsu from Miyo's
  7. Shave ice from Kawachi's Seed Shop
  8. Lunch from Asami's Kitchen (okazuya)
  9. My grandma's "purple rice" (sekihan)
I realize my list has national fast food chains on it, but I never get to go to them in Seattle. And only in Hawaii will Taco Bell sell POG slush! So far I can cross off the first two items. Hopefully I will be able to take pictures of the rest of these foods so you guys can see the deliciousness too!!

Hello

So I finally decided to post on my blog today! I meant to start posting during summer since I would have a lot of free time but I forgot the cord that connected my camera to my computer in Seattle. So I figured eehhh, I'll do it when I go back to school....sometime....eventually.....yeah.

When I got back to school though, it was kind of busy at first, getting settled in the quad and stuff. When I had more time though, I didn't know what to write about! I felt like, if I had any interesting stories or whatever, I would just say it to your faces immediately instead of posting it on the internet.

But today I am sitting in the lawbrary without much to do so I am going. So today I am going to post some pictures of yummy desserts I have eaten!

My grandma made this. It tastes extra good because it's made with love :)

Ice cream crepe from that place by the convention center.

I made chocolate souffle last summer and dusted it with powdered sugar and a strawberry sauce!!

I made checkerboard cookies! It was really hard to work with the dough, and as you can see, they're a little lopsided

I only wish I made that! It was made of like gelatin and cool whip with pieces of orange, served in half of the orange peel as a bowl.

Yay, so this is the end of my first blog post. I'm starting to think I should have picked another topic though, because now I'm getting hungry :P

Bye for now!!
